X 13 Anti Weld SpatterPaint
![]()
· Product Description:
100% environmentally friendly Acrylic/Water Based Paint that prevents weld spatter from adhering to working surfaces. Our product works by creating a coating that significantly reduces the amount of heat from weld spatter before it becomes in contact with a working surface. When the weld spatter has cooled, simply remove the excess spatter by compressed air or by manually using a brush. Our X13 is used primarily on “Hot Spots” I.E Proximity Switches and Welding Clamps – anywhere that weld spatter build up is a problem.
This product is NON- Toxic and NON Flammable.
· Product Application:
Apply the X13 Paint using a high-pressure airless paint gun, or by manually using a paintbrush. Our 4oz and 8oz cans come with a self-application brush.
Notes: When using Paint Sprayer, please coat your working surface twice.
When manually applying, please use a crosshatch pattern to make sure that the working surface is thoroughly coated.
· Product Life:
Our product is new to the market. Recent tests have proven to prevent weld spatter buildup on an assembly line using Resistant and Mig welders for approximately 17,000 cycles with no re-application. We recommend that the Anti Weld Spatter Paint be reapplied to heavy contact area’s every 3,000 – 5,000 (Depending on application) cycles to insure proper protection.
· Test Results:
Below we applied 2 coats of our X 13 Paint using a cross hatching pattern – let dry.
· Picture A: Depicts our X 13 coated C Clamp placed next to a weld line. As you can see, weld spatter has completely covered the front surface of the C Clamp.
· Picture B: Depicts the same X 13 coated C Clamp free of weld spatter. We simply removed the weld spatter with an ordinary paint brush.

The same test was repeated 4 times with the same end result – NO WELD SPATTER!
